I will overwhelm 'credible combatant' Paul - Joshua
Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to promote next month's boxing match.
Ex two time world boxing king Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to break his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically known for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's greatest financial successes, regularly earning substantial paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Size Difference
As both boxers engaged in the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
